Great Bardfield Village
Great Bardfield village is located 1.6 miles South Southwest of Finchingfield. A larger village than Finchingfield, Great Bardfield has a greater diversity of amenities and shops. Great Bardfield village is known to be the home of the Great Bardfield Artists during the 1950s, said to have given to Anne of Cleves as part of Henry VIII’s divorce settlement including the Grade II listed Great Lodge and in the UK, the home of the rare Oxlip plant.
